MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer Lito Villanueva, shared key insights at the ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP) discussion, passionately advocating his mantra of “Tech for Good.” Themed “AI-Powered, Human-Centered: Where Customer, Employee, and Tech Experiences Converge,” the event brought together industry leaders to explore how artificial intelligence can drive meaningful and ethical innovations that benefit society.
As the Philippines’ award-winning thought leader on digital transformation and inclusive digital finance at scale, Villanueva emphasized the transformative potential of AI to enhance customer and employee journeys. Drawing on his extensive experience at RCBC, he highlighted how businesses can harness AI to deliver personalized, inclusive, and sustainable solutions that address real-world challenges.
“While AI enhances our capabilities, it is genuine intelligence (GI) that ultimately defines us. AI is a tool, but humanity’s vision, ethics, and ingenuity guide its application. As we progress, we ensure that human intelligence remains at the heart of every technological leap,” Villanueva remarked.
