Moreover, the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) and Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita (AKAP) programs have extended a helping hand to 11,919 and 23,300 beneficiaries, respectively, providing crucial support during challenging times. In addition, Rep. Lazatin, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture’s National Irrigation Administration (NIA), has significantly enhanced food security through various initiatives, including the distribution of seeds and fertilizers, construction of farm-to-market roads, and installation of irrigation systems.
