Solaire Resort North brings a new dawn in Quezon City

Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (BRC), the Philippines’ leading integrated resorts operator, inaugurated its second Solaire-branded property, Solaire Resort North, in Quezon City on Saturday, ushering in a new era of luxury and entertainment in the northern metro area.

President Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos joined Bloomberry Resorts Corp. Chairman and CEO Enrique K. Razon, Jr. to officially open Solaire Resort North with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

They were joined by PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and Mrs. Lizzy Razon.

Solaire Resort North, a USD1 billion integrated destination resort on a 1.5-hectare site located in Quezon City—Metro Manila’s largest city—is the first and only five-star integrated resort serving northern Metro Manila and adjacent provinces. 

Strategically located along the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Metro Manila’s busiest and most important thoroughfare, the new resort is expected to solidify Solaire’s position as a leader in luxury entertainment, while offering an elevated resort experience to clientele in the metropolis’ northern areas. 

Solaire Resort North boasts of 530 well-appointed rooms and suites with contemporary, state-of-the-art furnishings and exclusive amenities, showcasing panoramic views of the cityscape, Sierra Madre mountains, and Laguna de Bay. 

The resort’s four gaming levels includes 2,600 electronic gaming machines and 160 tables that are the latest and most advanced in gaming technology. Guests are also presented with an extensive roster of 14 restaurants and bars that highlight Western and Asian flavors and tastes, as well as top-of-the-line wines, spirits, liquor, and signature handcrafted cocktails and blends. 

Additional amenities include a swimming pool with a designated kid’s waterpark, and a Kid’s Club which features different interactive fun and themed playgrounds. 

The resort’s wellness area houses a health club with the latest machines and equipment and a spa that has cold plunge pools, onsen tubs, experiential showers, and a tepidarium – the first of its kind in the country. 

For meetings and events, the resort offers exceptional MICE venues, including a pillarless grand ballroom that can accommodate 1,300 guests in concert-style seating and can be further divided into three halls; a boardroom; and more intimate function areas. 

The grand opening ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and greetings from the Philippines’ “Concert King” and Solaire Resort ambassador Martin Nievera, who also hosted the event. An exhilarating opening production number featuring the Legit Status Dance Crew and the Buganda Drum and Dance group followed, captivating the audience with their high-energy performance.

As Solaire Resort North opens its doors to the public, BRC solidifies its position as a trailblazer in the hospitality sector, setting a new benchmark for luxury and entertainment in Quezon City.
