SM Foundation, Inc. activated its Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) to help victims, following the heavy rains and flooding that hit Zamboanga City for several days.
About 700 Kalinga Packs were given to affected employees of tenants, partner agencies, and the mall, especially the utility and security personnel. Meanwhile, volunteer employees from SM City Mindpro distributed the packs to roughly 600 families in Barangay Tetuan and Barangay Sta. Maria.
OPTE is a social good program of SM Foundation in collaboration with SM Supermalls and SM Markets. It aims to address the needs of communities during calamities and crises.
