A cooler diaper experience for babies

If there’s one baby essential that provides comfort to babies, it’s diapers. Not only does the product keep their messes at bay, but it also promotes soothing with the appropriate properties that cater to a baby’s needs.

Most diapers boast an anti-leak feature to keep babies’ diapers from overflowing, which could affect babies’ skin with rashes or leave them uncomfortable. Parents and guardians also prefer this technology, along with wetness indicators, because it allows them to secure their children’s safety and keep them aware of changing times.

However, not all diaper brands are breathable. It worries many parents because the trapped heat could cause their babies to feel fussy, and the sweat could also harm their young skin.

With the consideration of Asian humidity in mind, MAKUKU developed diapers that are ultra-thin, lightweight, and made with super-absorbent polymer to provide babies with overnight comfort. It also helps babies feel fresh and comfy despite the warm temperature in the Philippines.

The brand’s Slim Diapers also have vitamin C to protect babies’ skin from redness and irritation.

MAKUKU, founded in 2020 in Shanghai, China, devoted itself to studying and developing quality and durable products for moms and babies. The brand established itself as a premium user-oriented brand that aims to be part of consumers’ lives.

It promises to release more baby and mother products, aside from diapers, to bring quality and comfort to consumers in the Asian market.

Another product from MAKUKU is their Balance Care diaper, which is now available in the market. It has a bubble waist wrap that prevents red marks and skin irritation, making it a more comfortable choice for active babies.

However, the brand has yet to make a name for itself in the Philippine market. As a result, the brand held its first event in the country at Seda Residences, Makati, last November 29. The event welcomed guests from the media, influencers, and well-known local moms who wanted nothing but the best for their kids.

The event aimed to educate the market about the unique features of MAKUKU diapers, provide stress-free parenting tips from Clinical Psychologist Alodia Cueno-Mercado, and entertain guests with various surprises.

One of the ways the brand kicked off its product launch in the Philippines is by gifting Maria Margarette Villorente, the mother of the world’s eight billionth baby, a year’s supply of diapers. Baby Vinice Mabansag from Delpan, Tondo, Manila, holds a unique distinction as the country’s eight billionth baby, inspiring MAKUKU to provide her with quality products to help with her growth and development.

Rita Gaviola, popularly known in the country as “Badjao Girl,” also attended the event to share her experience with her recent firstborn baby.

Being a parent is hardly a walk in the park. Although each experience is different, with some key similarities that most parents can relate to, their babies’ well-being is a top priority. Exploring new brands that offer unique features is only of the steps they willingly take.

MAKUKU diapers are available in Puregold, SouthStar Drugstore, Watsons, Divimart, Landers, All Day Mart, Gaisano, Shopwise, and Hi-Top Supermarket.
