Giving hope to people with diabetes

Diabetes is a serious and chronic metabolic disease characterized by an increase in blood sugar levels. It is consistently one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the Philippines through the years. In the Philippines, one in 14 Filipino adults lives with diabetes.

As of 2019, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) data shows that almost four million of the then total 63.2 million Filipino adult population have diabetes with a 6.3 percent prevalence of diabetes in adults.

In the Western Pacific, the Philippines ranks fifth—behind China, Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand⁠—in the number of diabetics. IDF, an umbrella organization of over 230 national diabetes associations in 170 countries, projected that by 2030, the number of adults with diabetes in the Philippines will further rise to 5.29 million, and an estimated 7.27 million by 2045.

Diabetes is known as the silent epidemic as it can cause serious health problems if not managed well. These health problems include cardiovascular problems, diabetic retinopathy, and kidney failure, among others. Management of diabetes includes following a strict diet, doing regular exercise, and regular visits to the doctor.

There is a new product in Vietnam that will help alleviate and even eliminate the symptoms of diabetes. The product is Glufarelin, the world’s first high-tech diabetic milk and will be making its way to the Philippine market soon. According to reports, milk can lower blood sugar levels in just one week of using the milk without having to diet.

Glufarelin supports diabetes control from the cellular level and deeply solves the root cause of Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes safely and naturally without causing any harm to the body. It provides the user with essential nutrients to help the patient make up for the nutritional deficiencies caused by the process of abstinence and recovery from within.

The product contains an abundant source of colostrum with high natural antibody content and specialized milk formula to help nourish the body completely, improve resistance and provide adequate nutrition. It promotes balanced nutrition to compensate for the lack of nutrients for the time the patient must abstain. Diabetes is controlled without affecting the patient’s daily activities.

Ingredients from American Ginseng, a kind of ginseng with high amounts of saponins and panaquilons, are also used in milk.
