ONE Championship will help the United Nations celebrate its 75th anniversary as the pair aim to get more voices heard in the UN’s global conversation on the future.

In this partnership, the stars of ONE will be the messengers of their own fanbase as they invite their followers to take the UN’s one-minute survey, which will collect the info needed to make positive changes in the future.

Among those stars are ONE Championship Vice President Miesha Tate, legendary Brazilian Vitor Belfort, ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan, Japanese-Korean superstar Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama, Indian wrestling sensation Ritu Phogat, Thai star Rika Ishige, Vietnamese-American superstar Bi Nguyen, and Indonesian standout Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol

Furthermore, ONE will be hosting a special webinar on Tuesday, 14 July, called TOGETHER AS ONE #UN75, a webinar which will feature  several speakers who will tackle the sport’s responsibility in unifying communities moving forward.

“I’m thrilled to be participating in this webinar with the UN, a global organization that drives international change and brings communities together,” Hua Fung Teh, Group President of ONE Championship, said.

"ONE Championship, like the UN, is a values-based organization, and our mission is to unleash real-life superheroes who ignite the world with hope, strength, dreams, and inspiration. We believe in the unifying power of sports, especially in these difficult times, and collaboration with entities like the UN represents our continued commitment to effect positive change in the community via our global platform.”

Joining Hua Fung is Fabrizio Hochschild, the UN under-secretary general, Cheryl Goh, Grab Group Vice President of Marketing and Dr. Daiana Beitler, the Regional Business Lead, Philanthropies at Microsoft Asia.

“It is absolutely crucial that we listen better to the concerns of people across the world and come up with effective solutions on how we can bring people closer together, overcome shared fears, and better serve future generations,” Hochschild said.

“Working with a dynamic organization like ONE Championship, we hope that together, we can make a meaningful impact through the UN75 initiative.”

ONE Championship returns to martial arts action with ONE: NO SURRENDER, a closed-door, audience-free event set for Friday, 31 July, in Bangkok, Thailand. Watch it for free by downloading the ONE Super App.
