Two World Title showdowns and a super bout are set to banner ONE Championship’s return to live shows.
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced on Sunday the first three bouts set for ONE: NO SURRENDER on 31 July in Thailand.
In the Thai capital, Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon will try to protect his ONE Muay Thai Flyweight World Title from Petchdam “The Baby Shark” Petchyindee Academy.
Rodtang has been virtually unstoppable in ONE Super Series as he has yet to taste defeat in the organization. “The Iron Man” is fresh off a TKO win over Jonathan “The General” Haggerty at ONE: A NEW TOMORROW, where he defended his strap for the second time since winning the belt from the same man last year.
Petchdam, on the other hand, is no stranger to winning gold as he has previously won the ONE Kickboxing Flyweight World Title. He beat Momotaro at ONE: FIRE & FURY to earn his shot at Rodtang’s belt.
Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy defends the ONE Muay Thai Featherweight World Title against “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex.
After losing to Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan in the ONE Kickboxing Featherweight World Grand Prix, Petchmorakot won his last two bouts in the promotion in impressive fashion – a KO win over Charlie “Boy” Peters and a decisive five-round victory over Pongsiri PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym to win the inaugural ONE Muay Thai Featherweight World Title.
Old foes “The Killer Kid” Sittichai Sitsongpeenong and Superbon make their respective kickboxing debuts in The Home Of Martial Arts on the same card in a highly anticipated rematch.
While it’s the first time that both men will be competing against each other inside the Circle, the pair are known as two of the best Muay Thai and kickboxing athletes outside of ONE Super Series.
