Christopher Caluza made it to 10th place in the 2021 US International Figure Skating Classic in Massachusetts over the weekend.

Caluza came up with a combined score of 175.64, tallying 62.03 from the short program and 113.61 in the free skate event.

Philippine Skating Union president Nikki Cheng is upbeat about Caluza’s feat as this made him ready for another higher-level event.

“Christopher scored 175.64, finished 10/10. But he attained a new season’s best and also reached the minimum technical element scores in order for him to qualify in the 4 Continents Championships in February. It’s one of the championship events of our IF,” said Cheng.

Czech Republic’s Michal Brezina won the gold, collecting 238.65.
