Prime residential lot awaits medal winner from golf

A Prime residential lot awaits Filipino golfers who will win a medal of any color in the Tokyo Olympics.

Executives of Golf Batangas made this announcement as the men’s golf competitions of the quadrennial meet, where Juvic Pagunsan is competing, is now halfway through at the Kasumigaseki Country Club, in Saitama, Japan.

Women’s US Open champion Yuka Saso and Bianca Pagdanganan start their bids on August 4. A golfer who will win a gold will enjoy the same perks to be received by Filipina weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, who stands to get at least ₱43.5 million cash and other rewards after she ended the country’s 97-year Olympic gold-medal drought.

Diaz will get a ₱10 million cash incentive from the government through Republic Act 10699, or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act.

There’s also the ₱10 million, pledged by San Miguel Corporation president and CEO Ramon Ang, and the ₱10 million offered by  business tycoon Manny Pangilinan, through the MVP Sports Foundation. She also gets ₱3 million from a pledge by Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero of 1-PACMAN Party-list, plus a ₱2.5 million and a P5-million cash incentive from the local government of Zamboanga City, which is Diaz’s hometown

Cash amounting ₱5 million and free fuel for life from Siklab Atleta Sports Foundation head and Phoenix Petroleum chair Dennis Uy is also in the pipeline.

President Duterte promised a ₱3-million incentive from his own pocket,  and a house and lot in Zamboanga, while a ₱14 million residential condominium unit is waiting for her  in Eastwood, Quezon City, as promised  by Megaworld.

There’s also a ₱4 million house and lot at any PHirst Park Homes community of her choice from Century Properties, along with a house and lot in Tagaytay from Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino. Peter Atencio
