Zeal Esports crowned champion of VALORANT Tournament: One!

The Philppines' Zeal Esports defeated Paper Rex (PRX) from Singapore to rule the VALORANT Tournament: One! 

The tournament started with 64 teams but the Philippine representatives showed why they’re on top of the Southeast Asian regions. 

In the best-of-5 finals series, Zeal started strongly, winning map 1 in Ascent, with Senyorcarl the only Filipino player that had 20 plus kills, while three are from PRX.

The first match that went into overtime and lasted for 53 minutes and 33 seconds was won by Zeal with a score of 14-12 

For the second game, it was in the map Bind which was PRX’s pick, with Zeal dominating the attacking side as they won the first seven rounds en route to a 13-5 score, the quickest game in the series that lasted 34 minutes and 32 seconds

FIRESAIYAJIN led the team with 25 kills and an average combat score of 355. 

Zeal had a chance to close it out early by sweeping PRX, but the team Singaporean team had other ideas.

Icebox was the map for the third game which was Zeal’s pick, but PRX won, 13-9. f0rsakeN and d4v41 both had 20 plus kills, while no one from the Philippine team had that many kills. 

Zeal made roster changes as Craigys substituted for Flash for the fourth game in the map Split.  The result was a 14-12 overtime win as Zeal was crowned champion of the tournament by KJC eSports.
