Zeal Esports to represent PH in VALORANT Tournament: One!

By Jonas Ryan Nitura

Zeal won with a score of 13-11 in the map Ascent, to grab the chance to represent the Philippines in this tournament.

2ge led the team with 24 kills using the agent Astra with an average combat score of 250, while FIRESYJN followed with 21 kills using the agent Phoenix and had an average combat score of 270.

PapiChulo’s 22 kills weren’t enough, though, as South Built lost in the clutch rounds of rounds 23 and 24.

The tournament is hosted by KJC eSports with a total of 64 teams all over Southeast Asia in the tournament running from June 21 to June 26.

Eight teams were from the Philippines with powerhouse organizations like Bren Esports and Galaxy Racer, but ultimately lost against South Built.

Zeal will now have to go up against Todak from Malaysia to advance in the semi-finals and go head-to-head with either Team Ego from Vietnam or Foxy Araikordai from Thailand.
