3 winners crowned 7-Cock Derby champs

Carmona—Circle 8 GF, Haring Bastos, and White Ears ruled the 7-Cock Derby Qualifiers 1 of the Manila Cockers Club, Inc., the country’s cockfighting industry game-changer, recently at the Cockers Arena.

Circle 8 GF of Geronimo Sona III/Engr. Ernie Baldo; Haring Bastos of Kon. Aldwin Garcia and White Ears of JB Vinluan finished with 7 points each to win the qualifiers. 

Runner-ups include 3 Brothers of Francis and Frank Arellano and JA RDC of Joseph Aquino. 

MCC invites all interested breeders to join its 2020 Cock Season Derbies, namely the 7-Cock Derby Qualifiers 3  until February 16; the 7-Cock Derby Qualifiers 4  from February 21 to 29; the 7-Cock Derby Qualifiers 5 from March 3 to 11; the 7-Cock Derby Qualifiers 6 from March 14 to 22 and the 7-Cock Derby Qualifiers 7 from March 26 to April 3.  

A guaranteed P6.5 million, plus a P1 million additional fund will be awarded per derby. 

All derbies will have no entry fees and no minimum/maximum bets; featuring a 3-4 derby format and a weight limit of 1.900 to 2.400 kg.
