Benilde, EAC go for gold in inaugural NCAA hado tournament
The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB) Anigators and the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Crim Pythons won in their respective semifinal bouts against the San Beda University Red Merly and Arellano University Hansamu last Friday (October 18) to make it to the inaugural HADO Pilipinas championship. More than the victory, the Anigators and the Crim Pythons will be fighting for the right to represent the Philippines in the HADO World Championships in Tokyo, Japan this December. In an interview prior to the Final Four match, the Anigators, composed of members Niccolo Perez, John Basoc, Jael Dango, Mika Lariosa, and Fiel Julo, revealed that they have used the perceived weakness of their team to snatch win after win and get a chance to become the first Filipino HADO champions. Meanwhile, the Crim Pythons, made up of Kyle David Gamboa, John Dominic Baluran, Miles Edrian Arce, Alsher Escandar, and Benjamin Andres Dela Cruz, are dead set on defeating anyone that stood in their way to bring honor and glory to their school. However, in the spirit of sportsmanship, the team believes that even as they go for the championship, they still wish the best for their opponents.
