Concluding the 7-Eleven Christmas Virtual Run for a Cause 2020 is the donation of 40,000 care packages to various local government units all over the Philippines.

Shown here are (from left) Vice Mayor Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan; Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso; Israelita Ferrer-Laquin, PhilSeven Foundation Agency Head; and Liezl Mingoa, PhilSeven Foundation Administrative Officer.

Each care package contained grocery items worth P500, which amounted to a total value of P20M.

During the last two weeks of December 2020, 7-Eleven sent the care packages to the first batch of LGUs. The leading LGUs were Cebu City with 7,200 packages, Davao City with 6,600, Marikina City with 4,000, and Manila City with 3,000. The LGU of Tagum City in Davao del Norte has also already accepted 1,000 care packages.

The remaining care packages will be sent to the following LGUs of the Province of Albay, Province of Cagayan, Province of Isabela, Province of Cavite, Quezon City, Rodriguez in Rizal, Montalban in Rizal, Muntinlupa City, Batangas City, Taguig City, Antipolo City, Makati City, Pasay City, Parañaque City, Iloilo City, and Bacolod City.

The LGU beneficiaries were based on the virtual run’s participants’ votes, which can be viewed at https://run711.com/leaderboard#/.
