EIGHT Philippine franchise teams clash in the Land of Dawn to get a chance to win $150,000, gain the opportunity to represent the country and become the next M4 World Champions in January next year.

After a compelling MSC 2022 that concluded last month, Blacklist International, RSG PH, Smart Omega, Nexplay EVOS, Bren Esports, TNC, ONIC PH and ECHO face off in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 10 (MPL PH Season 10).

Maui Tang, Moonton esports marketing and business development specialist, introduced the theme for this year’s clash, with a tagline of “LAKAS NA10 TO.”

“We went from an offshoot of the earlier theme, Lakas ng Pinas, while marrying it with the elements of na-’ten’ as a play on integrating the importance of the 10th season milestone while highlighting the sense of inclusivity, community, co-ownership of all the stakeholders of the MPL,” said Tang.

“And with that regard, we also wanted it to embody a battlecry for the community. So since we are all big about the fans, the community, for this next season, we want that as we shout, Atin!, with our teammates in our community, it communicates that we are all in this together,” he added.

The season will run from August 12 to October 2. Similar to the previous season, each game will be a best-of-three series, with players taking on each other twice. Teams must appear once a week at the minimum and twice a week at the maximum. Two matches will be played on Friday and Sunday, while three matches will be set for Saturday.

After the regular season, the MPL S10 will have a two-week break leading up to best-of-five series to be played on the playoffs come October 20 to 23.

The coming tournament will stream on the official Facebook and Youtube channels of Mobile Legends Bang Bang.

RSG PH, current MPL and MSC winners, battles the comeback kings, Smart Omega on August 12, Friday, at 6 p.m., followed by a match between the M3 champion Blacklist International and Nexplay EVOS at 8 p.m.
