October is the best time to be in Sorsogon because of its Kasanggayahan Festival, which boasts of yearly colorful parades, folk dances and beauty pageants.
On the festival’s 45th year, Sorsogon had its first Bancarerahan.
Pioneer Epoxy joined the first Kasanggayahan Bancarerahan which was held at Rompeolas, Sorsogon City.
Racers from other towns also participated in the bangkarera.
The winners are Champion Rolan Bha-Ara Nicole of Sorsogon City; 1st Runner Up Pechanga of Biliran, Leyte; 2nd Runner Up Rolan Bha-White of Sorsogon City; and 3rd Runner Up: Rolan Bha 3 of Sorsogon City in the 16HP Marine Engine division.
Winners in the 7.5HP Marine Engine category are champion Pechanga of Biliran, Leyte; 1st Runner Up Anthony Rose of Cavite; 2nd Runner Up Paracale of Camarines Norte and 3rd Runner Up: Jenica of San Fernando, Masbate.
The Kasanggayahan Festival’s 1st Bancarerahan happened on October 22 and 23.
