It’s Team Heroes versus Team Saints once more in the NCAA All-Star Games this Tuesday (November 26) at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, which will air LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A and via streaming on iWant starting 1 p.m.
This year is special as the event will not just feature the league’s best in basketball, but also the cream of the crop in the women’s volleyball tournament. Moreover, each team will also feature some of the best and most loved alumni athletes of the NCAA. The Women’s Volleyball All-Star match will raise the curtains at 1 p.m. to be followed by a special performance featuring Star Music performers at 3 p.m. The Men’s Basketball All-Star Game will tip off at 4 pm.
Team Saints in basketball will feature the likes of Jerrick Balanza from Season 95 champions, Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL); Clint Doliguez of San Beda University (SBU); RK Ilagan of San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSC-R); Ed Charcos from Univ. of Perpetual Help-System Dalta (UPHSD); and Justin Gutang of College of Saint Benilde (CSB) for Team Saints. Kent Salado from season hosts Arellano University (AU) will banner team Heroes alongside JP Magullano of Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC); the Marcelino twins Jaycee and Jayvee from Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU); Noah Lugo from Mapua University (MU); and Agem Miranda from Jose Rizal University (JRU).
On the volleyball side, fans can catch Clariza Abriam (CSB); Julienne Castro (CSJL); Ces Racraquin (SBU); Jewelle Bermillo (SSC-R); and Shyra Mae Umandal (UPHSD) for Team Saints. Team Heroes will be represented by Regine Arocha (AU) from the hosts; Kathrine Almazan (EAC); Alexa Rafael (LPU); Loraine Barias (MU); and Dolly Grace Versoza (JRU).
To spice up the event, notable alumni from each team will also be participating in the events. The All-Star basketball game will have guests like professional league players Jio Jalalon (AU), Rey Nambatac (CSJL), and Philip Paniamogan (JRU). The All-Star volleyball match, on the other hand, will be headlined by Grethcel Soltones (SSC-R), Cindy Imbo (SSC-R), and Jovy Prado (AU) for the one-day event.
