The talent identification aims to create a database and normative data of the standing and sitting height, mass and arm span of the youth athletes aged 15 below. It also aims to determine specific sports that may benefit the youth based on their anthropometric measurements.

The weeklong Batang Pinoy 2019 National Championships, a centerpiece program of the national sports agency, ended with Baguio City winning the overall championship after a haul of 61 golds, 45 silvers and 70 bronzes.
