Ifugao Schools Division Superintendent Gloria B. Buya-ao, during the courtesy call of Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Commissioner Charles Raymond A. Maxey Monday morning, said Mapeh teachers were invited to the Forum.

“We actually invited Mapeh teachers in various schools to be part of the Forum,” Buya-ao said.

Maxey said he is hopeful that more participants will join the Forum as it is the education aspect of the IP Games project.

“We need to spread awareness to key stakeholders in order for the sustainability of the Indigenous Peoples Games project. And our Mapeh teachers are one of the key stakeholders,” Maxey said.

Some 400 Indigenous Peoples are expected to compete in 15 traditional sports and games.
