WORLD renowned and Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach serves as the special guest in today’s session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum at the Golden Phoenix Hotel along Diosdado Macapagal Ave. Sunrise Drive in Pasay City.
Roach, the long-time trainer of boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, will be with strength and conditioning coach Justine Fortune in the public sports program presented by San Miguel Corp., Golden Phoenix Hotel, Accel, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., as they talk about the training and preparation of the Filipino ring great for his coming July 2 title fight against Australian Jeff Horn for the World Boxing Organization welterweight championship.
Joining them in the 10:30 a.m. session to be aired live over DZSR Sports Radio 918 are the ProOpen, Ladies Class, and Kids overall champion of the Diamond Motor Supercross. Accompanying them are organizer Sam Tamayo.
