Meralco is sending Trevis Jackson to Rain or Shine in exchange for the Painters’ rookie Franky Johnson.
Jackson was the fifth pick in 2019 Draft by the Bolts. The 5’11 playmaker logged-in 2.25 points, 1.25 rebounds and 0.5 assists during the 2021 Philippine Cup.
On the other hand, Johnson was fresh off his inaugural conference that saw him in limited action for Rain or Shine, appearing in only four games, averaging 3 points, 1.75 rebounds and 0. 5 assists.
The 27-year-old Fil-Am cager was initially relegated to his former team’s 3×3 squad but was called-up later.
Rain or Shine battles Blackwater Bossing on December 9 with another match-up two days after fighting Terrafirma Dyip.
The Bolts for now have no assigned game based on the released one-week schedule by the league.
