Marion Magat is expected to bolster the big-man rotation of the NLEX Road Warriors as the team re-acquired his services in a trade sending Mike Ayonayon and Will McAloney to Blackwater Bossing.
The 6’7” National University-standout formerly played for the franchise before being flipped for Jericho Cruz from the TNT Tropang Giga in 2019.
Coincidentally, the 18th overall pick was also involved in a three-team transaction that sent the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year, Poy Erram, to Giga’s side.
The Road Warriors will need the stalwart as they are set to miss for a few games highly-improved center Raul Suyod, who underwent an arthroscopic operation.
On the other hand, 2019 Draft batchmates Mike Ayonayon and Will McAloney will now suit up for Bossing, a squad which struggled to record a win during the 2021 Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup.
