After being traded to NorthPort last Friday, Vic Manuel is on the move again and will shipped for long-time San Miguel Beer player Arwind Santos in a one-on-one exchange by the Batang Pier with the Beermen.
The 40-year-old Santos finished his 12-year SMB stay with a numerous accomplishments, including nine championships, two Finals MVPs and a Season MVP award in 2013.
Coming off averages of 13.27 points, 7.45 rebounds and 1.91 assists in the Philippine Cup, the 6’4” forward will now partner with the team they eliminated during the quarterfinals in two close games, headed by Greg Slaughter and Robert Bolick.
Meanwhile, Manuel will join forces with SMB’s towering bigs of six-time MVP June Mar Fajardo and Fil-Tongan Moala Tautuaa, along with high-powered guards namely Chris Ross, Terrence Romeo and CJ Perez.
