TnT KaTropa finally shipped away guard Jericho Cruz in a completed and approved three-team transaction yesterday in the Philippine Basketball Association.

The league gave its go-signal to the trade that will send the shifty guard to NLEX.

Placed on the freezer for quite a stretch already, Cruz was finally dealt away by the Tropang Texters to the Road Warriors with NorthPort serving as a third party.

The KaTropa will receive two second-round picks (2021 and 2022), with NLEX reserve big man Marion Magat, while the Batang Pier took Michael Miranda in return and two more future draft picks from the Road Warriors.

Aside from Cruz, NLEX also took NorthPort’s 2020 second-round pick to round out the deal.

This came months after TNT placed Cruz in the reserve list.

Cruz last played in February for the Tropang Texters.

He will now be reunited with coach Yeng Guiao in NLEX, where he is expected to play heavy minutes as the Road Warriors are in dire need of some firepower.

Cruz started his career with Rain or Shine and was actually one of Guiao’s go-to players during his time there before getting traded to TNT.
