The National University Bulldogs posted a pair of victories to remain in the lead in the ongoing 15th Fr. Martin Collegiate Open Cup basketball tournament at the St. Placid gym of the San Beda-Manila campus in Mendiola.

Joshua Flores shot 21 points for the Bulldogs in their 79-62 beating of the San Sebastian Stags.

Flores then contributed a game-high 27 points in leading the Bulldogs to an 82-78 win over the La Consolacion College-Manila Blue Royals.

This allowed the Bulldogs to move up in the standings with their 4-1 win-loss record, just enough for them to earn third spot in the crossover semifinals.
