Secret Spices ruled the recent Wang’ Basketball Chairman’s Cup, beating the Green Bankers, 101- 97, in a come-from-behind victory at the Aquinas Gym in San Juan.
The champion team was led by the trio of league MVP Jacob Lucas with 20 points, together with Jayniel Ilac, who top-scored with 22 markers and three-point champion Ricson Guerrero, who chipped in 20 points.
The Green Bankers had playing coach Pablo Lucas leading the scoreboard with 23 points supported by Joseph Navarro (20 points), Topel Gonalo, Johnlord Bal and Sandy Pazziuagan with 10 points..
