The Letran Knights demolished University of Asia and Pacific, 119-49, to march to their third win in three outings in the 25-under division of the Milcu-2018 Got Skills-Adidas Summer Showcase Basketball tournament at the Philadelphia School in Quezon City.

Kurt Reyson shot 27 points for the Knights as they posted their third win in four games.

This kept them in second place, behind the solo-leading University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.

Jifford Canigas tallied 13 points for Arellano University, which downed Manuel L. Quezon University, 88-59.

This allowed the Chiefs to gain a share of the lead and keep up with the Fighting Maroons with their third straight victory.

Manila Standard

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.

Digital Edition

In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
