Will Pacquiao battle McGregor or Crawford?

Will eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao fight former Ultimate Fighting Championship superstar Conor McGregor, or will it be Terrence Crawford?

Any of the two fights could materialize after McGregor accepted an offer to fight Manny Pacquiao.

Or it could be Crawford, after Top Rank CEO Bob Arum talked to Crawford’s manager-trainer Brian McIntyre last week and told their camp that they would love to have a fight in November.

Lately, McGregor gave a clue of a potential bout with Pacquiao.

And this with an unanticipated Tagalog message on his Twitter account.

“Tinatanggap ko (I accept),” said McGregor in a tweet yesterday which amplified conjectures that he is taking on offers to slug it out with Pacquiao.

This tweet came after an earlier cryptic post, “I accept,” which others said was for another fighter Khamzat Chimaev.

But who his message is for still remains a mystery because he did not discuss further on his future plans.

Arum recently proposed the idea of making a Pacquiao-Crawford fight happen many years ago.

But this never materialized since both were previously under Top Rank.

In Pacqiuao’s last fights, he defeated Adrien Broner and Keith Thurman.

As for McGregor, he has fought undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his first and only boxing match.

And he went down in 10 rounds via a technical knockout in 2017.

McGregor has been retired since June after last seeing action in the UFC last January.

That was when he pulled off out a first-round technical knockout win over Donald Cerrone.

For his next fight, Pacquiao will put the World Boxing Association welterweight belt on the line.

The Pacquiao-McGregor bout has been rumored to be in the works since February this year.

A showdown between Pacquiao and McGregor seems close to happening. Especially after Paradigm Sports Management announced that it has added the Filipino boxing legend to its stable.

The Paradigm stable includes UFC stars McGregor, Israel Adesanya, and and even Cris Cyborg.

In a statement, Pacquiao said he is proud of having partnered with the outfit.

“I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that (Paradigm president and CEO) Audie Attar and PSM have to offer,” said Pacquiao.
