Much-awaited Golovkin-Alvarez rematch airs on Sky Pay-Per-View

SKY subscribers nationwide can get front row access to this year’s highly anticipated rematch between Gennady Golovkin and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez as SKY Pay-Per-View airs the fight live from the U.S. on Sunday (Sept. 16) for only P199.

Boxing superstars Golovkin and Alvarez will square off once more in Las Vegas for their bout that is dubbed as this year’s most-awaited rematch after their 2017 controversial bout.

Golovkin, with stats of 38-0-1, 34 KOs to his name, has 20 straight defenses in the division and is tied with Bernard Hopkins for the record.

Meanwhile, Alvarez with stats of 49-1-2, 34 KOs, is on a campaign as a full-fledged 160-pound middleweight. He has not lost a fight since dropping a majority decision against Floyd Mayweather in 2013.

As the fight is tipped to be one of the most exciting fights of the year, the winner will be able to call himself the king of the middleweights.

SKY is also staging another promo until September 16 for Mega Manila subscribers who are interested to enjoy good savings deals as it bundles the Golovkin vs. Alvarez rematch with selected channels.
