Adamson nails 2nd win

Adamson University turned up the shooting and fended off University of Santo Tomas, 81-70, to take their second consecutive win in as many games in UAAP Season 82 High School Girls’ Basketball Tournament, Saturday at Paco Arena.

Team captain Crisnalyn Padilla was instrumental in the victory for the Lady Baby Falcons after finishing with 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting to go along with nine assists, four steals, and two rebounds.

“Good job sa mga players kasi lahat ng tinuro namin especially yung play kasi nae-execute nila yung play. Nae-execute nila yung good defense,” said Adamson head coach Ewon Arayi as her team came off a 121-44 win over Ateneo on opening day.

In the following game, De La Salle-Zobel entered the win column after dominating Ateneo High Shcool, 105-36.
