CJ Perez led all scorers with 23 points as the Beermen maintained the momentum they established early on.

“We have to dwell on our last two games. In our last two games, we were leading, and we played well, offensively and defensively. But come the second half, that’s when we relaxed,” said Beermen coach Leo Austria.

Perez scored seven points in the first period, helping the Beermen take an early 22-19 lead.

In the second quarter, Juami Tiongson hit six of his 11 total points, allowing the Beermen to maintain control with a 43-34 halftime spread.

The third period belonged to Marcio Lassiter, who scattered 12 points to help the Beermen extend their edge to 74-65 by the end of the quarter.

Finally, June Mar Fajardo took over the scoring in the fourth, unloading 14 points and helping the Beermen secure the 18-point cushion at the final buzzer.

This victory allowed the Beermen to shake off their early-season losses to the NLEX Road Warriors and the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters.
