Alaska Fortified will again help children stay healthy through running during the Alaska Fortified Iron Kids Philippines Keep Fit At Home Virtual Runs this weekend Oct. 17 and 18.

Not even the global Covid-19 pandemic can stop these children from enjoying themselves and staying healthy by joining the Alaska Fortified Iron Kids Philippines Keep Fit At Home Virtual Runs.

And before that, meet some of the past IRONKIDS finishers and get to know them better at 6 p.m. today, Friday, October 16 during the final Facebook Live Episode.

Not even the global Covid-19 pandemic could stop children from staying fit and healthy through Alaska Fortified’s virtual runs. An all-digital running program has allowed IRONKIDS to adapt to the times amid the pandemic. Activities started August and concludes October.

Princess Galura, General Manager for Sunrise Events, Inc. a part of the IRONMAN Group said that it was time to bring Alaska IRONKIDS to new heights while adapting to the current situation at the same time.

“Having an all-digital run program means we are able to bring the race to more kids, ranging from 4 to 16 years old, either beginners or trained runners. This is a good opportunity for the kids to jump start their journey to a healthier lifestyle, even without going outside. For the existing IRONKIDS, it’s a good program to continue their development in the sport,” said Galura.

Alaska Fortified IRONKIDS Virtual Run Program’s 10-weekend run concludes this October. It gave children a chance to start slow, train, build up, and beat their own records in the three-month period.

Alaska Fortified helped children deal with the lockdown and stay healthy at the same time.

Harvey Uong, Managing Director of Alaska Milk Corporation expressed his gratitude for being able to conduct a program that helped children specially during these most trying times.

“We are grateful to be pioneering this first all-digital run program of IRONKIDS, with Sunrise Events. It has always been the vision of Alaska to be able to provide nutrition to kids with the support of an active lifestyle platform like Ironkids,” he said.

Children between 6 to 14 joined the 1KM, 1.5KM, 2KM and 3KM runs clustered per age group. #keepfitathome #IRONKIDSVR #IRONKIDSat10 #AlaskaFortified
