After what seemed like a slow start for Team Liquid PH, Kiel “Oheb” Soriano seems to have found his game once again after their win against the blazing hot Twisted Minds to end their undefeated streak.
Ever since TLPH got back from its MSC 2025 win at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, social media groups and online forums have been filled with debates pitting Oheb and ONIC PH gold laner Grant Duane ‘Kelra’ Pillas, as to who the better player is.
Following the team’s post-match interview on Sunday (August 31), the Filipino Sniper addressed the said debates.
“Sobrang tagal na namin sa liga, ano pang iko-compare mo sa amin? Pareho kaming may napatunayan, pareho kaming nag-champion and nag-MVP,” Oheb said.
“Kami nga mag-tropa na kami tuwing nagkikita kami. Kahit nu’ng nasa MSC, magkasama kami,” he added.
Oheb expressed his dismay towards bashers and fans trying to compare and instigate drama between them. While Kelra thinks of the debates as a fuel to ignite his competitive spirit, Oheb prefers to brush them off.
“Para sa akin hindi ko na siya tinitignan. Kung ano man mangyari sa career ko, para na lang sa sarili kong growth and development ‘yun,” he said.
The TLPH gold laner remained focused towards himself and his team’s future.
“Hindi na ako tumitingin sa ibang tao or nakaka-feel ng inggit kasi feel ko, napatunayan ko na ‘yung mga dapat kong patunayan,” Oheb said. “Wala naman akong dapat patunayan sa mga bashers.”
