The week-long competition saw the Filipino athletes bag a total of five medals — one gold, two silvers, and two bronzes — against the region’s top young talents.

“This was more than just a medal haul. It was a display of grit, growth, and the unmistakable Kayod Pilipinas spirit,” said Head coach Wee Wern Low, who, along with assistant coach Van-Aero Dalida, kept the team motivated and battle-ready throughout the high-stakes tournament.

Inigo Xavier Jordan earned a silver medal in the Boys’ U17 division after a series of tough matches that highlighted his strong mental focus and determination.

On the other hand, Christopher Buraga secured silver in the Boys’ U19 event, capping off his final SEAJIC appearance with a composed and mature showing that signalled his readiness for senior-level competition.

In the Girls’ U11 division, Lyra Kate Trasmil returned to the podium with a bronze medal, maintaining consistency and focus throughout the tournament.

Aliyah Nicolai Gannaban, competing in the Girls’ U13 category, also brought home a bronze despite not being in peak form — a testament to her resilience and drive.

Several other team members also posted strong performances.

Aerra Relano finished fifth in the Girls’ U17 division, making a significant jump in the regional rankings.

Carl Carillo also placed fifth in the Boys’ U19 bracket, a breakthrough result that bodes well for his future.

David Gabrielle Garcia finished ninth, gaining crucial experience against tough competition.

The team’s success was made possible by the support of the Philippine Sports Commission, the Philippine Olympic Committee, and the Filipino community cheering them on.
