Klay Thompson’s holiday colorway of his latest signature sneaker, the KT X ‘Christmas’ is the first ever Philippines-exclusive shoe by ANTA. It pays tribute to the unique way hoops-loving Pinoys celebrate the Yuletide, the longest celebration of Christmas unlike any other in the world.
The KT logo is incorporated into a traditional Filipino parol and placed on the shoe’s tongue. The festiveness of Paskong Pinoy is interpreted on the shoe’s upper adorned with colorful stars and on the midsole’s paint speckles in Christmas colors.
The shoe’s collar and laces are reminiscent of fresh snow-white coconut shavings or niyog you find on traditional Christmas delicacies like bibingka and puto bumbong.
The KT X ‘Christmas’ (P7,595) releases exclusively in the Philippines on Sunday, December 22 at ANTA stores.
