The Philippine Taekwondo Association conducted its annual National General Assembly Meeting last January 8, participated in by PTA National Instructors, Regional Management Committee Chairmen, Philippine National Police Taekwondo and the Armed Forces of the Philippines Taekwondo.
The GA, also attended by more than 500 PTA certified instructors, was held at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum. Discussed were the PTA national and regional development programs, national competitions and major international competitions, such as SEA Games in Cambodia, World Championships in Baku Azerbaijan, Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Indoor Martial Arts Games in Bangkok, Thailand and the ATF (Asean Taekwondo Federation) Taekwondo Championships scheduled on March 11 and 12, at the Ayala Malls, Manila Bay, Paranaque City.
