Four unbeaten teams part ways in a pair of matches tipped to go down-to-the-wire as Ateneo faces Adamson and St. Benilde tangles with UP at resumption of the V-League Women’s Collegiate Challenge at the Paco Arena in Manila today (Friday).
The Lady Eagles trounced the San Sebastian Lady Stags in three but needed an extra set to get past the FEU Lady Tams last Wednesday to join the Lady Falcons, who survived the Lady Tams in five last Oct. 19 then ripped the Recoletos-based squad in three the other day, in Pool A lead.
Gametime is at 3 p.m.
The Lady Blazers, on the other hand, collide with the Lady Maroons in the 5 p.m. main dish with the reigning NCAA champions, led by Mycah Go, also going through some anxious moments before dispatching the Lady Tigresses in four and then blasting the Lady Red Spikers in three last Wednesday.
The Diliman-based squad, meanwhile, whipped the Lady Red Spikers in three but were dragged to a four-set skirmish by the Lady Tigresses.
In a duel of winless teams. San Sebastian clashes with FEU at 10 a.m. while UST and San Beda mix it up at 1 p.m.
