Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas takes the limelight in the first virtual session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum for the second half of 2022 this Tuesday.
On hand to represent the country’s national basketball federation in the 10 a.m. public sports program is executive director Sonny Barrios.
The SBP is currently busy preparing the Gilas men’s basketball team for the World Cup qualifiers and the FIBA Asia Cup, as well as the U-16 national team bound to Qatar for the FIBA U-16 Asian Championship.
The federation likewise has its hands full preparing for the country’s co-hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
The weekly Forum is presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, Amelie Hotel Manila, Unilever, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.
