With ONE Championship announcing a multi-year broadcast deal with streaming giant Amazon Prime Video in North America, fans are anxiously waiting to see what the first card on the platform will look like.
Luckily for them, there are some interesting potential main-eventers.
With The Home of Martial Arts ready to embark on it’s new journey in the West, we look at some of the most interesting clashes that could headline its debut on Prime Video.
1. Joshua Pacio vs. Jarred Brooks
Joshua Pacio has been one of the most dominant World Champions in the organization, having been involved in the strawweight World Title picture for a long time.
Getting him on the first Prime card against an already established name in the west in Jarred Brooks would quickly warm him up to fans in the U.S. and Canada.
2. Angela Lee vs. Ham Seo Hee
Speaking of dominant World Champions, Angela Lee is another one who deserves to get more face time in the West.
“Unstoppable” has truly lived up to her nickname. She’s never experienced a loss in the atomweight division, where she’s been reigning as the queen since winning the strap against Mei Yamaguchi in 2016.
And right now, there’s no better challenger for Lee than Ham Seo Hee, who probably booked a World Title showdown with her by beating Denice Zamboanga in their rematch at ONE X.
3. Demetrious Johnson vs. Adriano Moraes II
When Adriano Moraes knocked out Demetrious Johnson to defend his ONE Flyweight World Title last year, it left a lot of fans in the U.S. in disbelief.
The thing about Johnson and Moraes, however, is that they cleared out the entire division. The American beat a lot of top contenders in the Grand Prix and the Brazilian did the same thing in his World Title run.
Sometime down the line the two top flyweights may meet again. And if ever they run it back, it only makes sense for the bout to unfold on Prime Video.
