Prospects of another Philippine sweep of the basketball and triathlon events in the Southeast Asian Games will be discussed Tuesday in the virtual Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum.

Butch Antonio

Gilas Pilipinas team manager and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas deputy executive director Butch Antonio, along with defending men’s individual gold medalist John Chicano and coach Melvin Fausto of triathlon are going to talk about their respective campaigns in the May 12 to 23 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In the 2019 edition of the biennial meet which the country hosted, the Philippines both completed a sweep of all events at stake in basketball and triathlon, respectively.

The weekly session starts at 10 a.m. and presented by San Miguel Corporation, MILO, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, Unilever, Amelie Hotel Manila, and the Philippine Amusements and Gaming Corporation.

The Forum is livestreamed via the PSA Facebook page fb.com/PhilippineSportswritersAssociation and aired on a delayed basis the same day at 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. over Radyo Pilipinas 2, which also shares the livestreaming over its Facebook page.
