BRAFE GOLF is held annually for the benefit of The Foundation for Sharing A La Sallian Education and in memory of Br. Rafael “Brafe” S. Donato FSC who, with his high school classmates, established and actively promoted FSLE.

The Foundation provides scholarship to intellectually qualified students who are not financially capable of obtaining proper education. It covers tuition and fees for a four-year college course at De La Salle University Lipa.

Rupert ‘Dodo’ Zaragoza, one of the country’s Top Amateur Champion golfers, will be hitting the greens of Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, together with 350 other golfing enthusiasts, on Oct. 3, 2016 when BRAFE 11 Golf tees off. Zaragoza (center) recently met with BRAFE Golf Core Group Head Albert M.G. Garcia (left) and Ben Jacinto to confirm his participation.

Now on its 11th year, BRAFE GOLF has gained a reputation of excellence with strict rules and competitive standards in place.  It is one of the biggest non-club sponsored tournaments in the Philippines and has been gaining ground through the years.

With the increase in the number of participants, this year’s BRAFE 11GOLF finds a new home at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in General Trias, Cavite City.  It will be played on three courses—Aoki, Faldo and Norman.  Registration starts at 6 a.m., with the shotgun tee off set at 8 a.m.  For more information, call the BRAFE 11 GOLF Secretariat at (02) 524-6549, 354-2207 to 09, or 0928 322 4217, look for Marites Santos.  You may also visit www.brafegolf.com and the BRAFE GOLF facebook page.
