Actress Barbie Forteza is set to star in the upcoming film “Until She Remembers,” an all-star project written and directed by acclaimed Filipino filmmaker Brillante Mendoza.
On Christmas Day, December 25, Solar Watch Now released the teaser for the film. The actress joins a seasoned ensemble led by Charo Santos-Concio and Boots Anson-Rodrigo, marking another prestigious collaboration for Mendoza, whose films have gained international acclaim.
In the teaser, Barbie is heard reciting Pablo Neruda’s poem “Tonight I Can Write (The Saddest Lines),” offering an early glimpse into the project’s reflective tone. The preview also shows her playing a student who assists Anson-Roa’s character in a wheelchair and shares a tender moment with Santos-Concio. Further details about the film’s story have yet to be disclosed.
Set for release in 2026, “Until She Remembers” also stars Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, Eric Quizon, and Vince Rillon, further bolstering its award-caliber cast, its director, Mendoza, is a Cannes Best Director winner for “Kinatay” and known for “Ma’ Rosa” and “Thy Womb.”
