Rising actors Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji will headline the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean film “A Werewolf Boy,” originally starring Song Joong-ki and Park Bo-young.
The announcement was made Sept. 29 during the finale media conference of the Viva One series “Seducing Drake Palma,” which the two also top-billed.

The remake is produced by Viva Films and directed by Crisanto B. Aquino. It is currently in production and will be released in cinemas. A teaser shows Muji’s character watching Angeles, who portrays a mysterious boy raised in isolation.
Angeles said he looks up to Song and admitted feeling pressure taking on the role. “Matagal ko nang ipinagdarasal na sana bigyan ako ng acting piece talaga,” he said, noting his preparations include prosthetic work.
The original 2012 film became a box office hit in South Korea and has gained a following abroad.
