‘The Voice’ champ Sofronio Vasquez releases Christmas song with David Foster
“The Voice USA” grand champion Sofronio Vasquez has released a new Christmas collaboration with Grammy-winning producer David Foster.
On Friday, Dec. 5, Sofronio dropped his rendition of “Grown-Up Christmas List,” marking his first collaboration with the Canadian hitmaker.
Written by Foster and Linda Thompson-Jenner, the holiday classic reflects themes of hope, peace and compassion. Sofronio’s version brings “heartfelt vocals” and “warmth” to the track’s timeless message.
In a social media post, Sofronio shared that the collaboration became possible through his “The Voice” mentor, Michael Bublé.
“Yes, its on our LIST this Holidays!@michaelbuble made this collaboration possible. What an opportunity and gift it is to be working with the multi Grammy Award winner and hitmake,” he wrote.
Sofronio and Michael previously released their own holiday duet, “Maybe This Christmas.”
The Filipino singer is also set to release an extended play produced by Michael, featuring collaborations with Foster and legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka.
“Grown-Up Christmas List” is now available on all major streaming platforms, with a lyric video posted on the singer’s YouTube channel.
