Seventeen members S.Coups and Mingyu, debuting as subunit CxM, dropped the music video for thier single, “5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman),” alongside the release of their debut mini-album “Hype Vibes.”
On Monday, Sept. 29, filmed in Los Angeles, the music video follows the duo through everyday encounters while highlighting perspectives of the women they meet.
American artist Lay Bankz, who is featured on the single, makes a cameo appearance, strutting through scenes with confidence that underlines the song’s message that “pretty” comes in many forms.
The track reimagines Roy Orbison’s “Oh, Pretty Woman” with disco-pop elements and a modern twist. Both members contributed as writers and producers for the single and the album’s other tracks.
“Hype Vibes” includes six songs, namely “Fiesta,” “Worth It,” “For You,” “Young Again,” and “Earth,” in addition to the title track.
“Hybe Vibes” is now available on major streaming platforms.
