The first official trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has dropped, offering a return to the sharp heels of Runway magazine.
Released Monday, Feb. 2, the trailer reunites Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, and Nigel Kipling, played by Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci, as they cross paths once again inside the fashion publication that defined the original film. Emily Charlton, portrayed by Emily Blunt, also reenters the picture.
The sequel follows Miranda as she navigates a changing media landscape while facing off against Emily, now a rival executive competing for advertising revenue as print journalism declines.
Production began in June 2025, with cast members spotted filming across New York City. The film is directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the same creative team behind the 2006 original.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set for a theatrical release on May 1.
