Kylie Padilla is celebrating her son Axl with a heartfelt message that had fans feeling the love.
The actress marked his 6th birthday by sharing a sweet video of them dancing together, which she paired with the caption, “My little old soul happy happy birthday. Mahal na mahal ka namin 🙏🏻.”
Axl is Kylie’s son with estranged husband Aljur Abrenica. The former couple also share an older child, Alas Joaquin.
Padilla later posted a longer birthday letter on Instagram Stories, reflecting on the difficult birth she endured and the joy Axl has brought into their lives.
“Having to survive your birth was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,” she wrote, adding that he has “the most magnetic soul” and “the most empathetic heart.”
She described him as a playful, charming boy who wins people over easily. “You are a little rainbow and I am so blessed to witness all your colors,” she wrote. “Mahal na mahal ka namin.”
The day continued with a fun celebration captured on her Stories—from Axl blowing out candles to running around a kiddie playground with his kuya.
“They are sweet everyday but I caught the sweetness today,” she said.
