Lea Salonga returns to Hong Kong Disneyland for holiday concert

Disney legend Lea Salonga, who performed at Hong Kong Disneyland’s grand opening in 2005, will return for a one-night-only concert as part of the resort’s 20th anniversary holiday celebrations.

The Disney Legend Live in Concert Presents Lea Salonga event takes place on Jan. 10, featuring a musical journey through Disney classics with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Disneyland Band, conducted by Maestro Gerard Salonga.

Salonga will perform iconic songs including the Oscar-winning “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, Golden Globe-nominated “Reflection” from Mulan, “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella, and Elsa’s empowering “Let It Go” from Frozen.

Castle projections, dazzling pyrotechnics, and appearances by six Disney Princesses—Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana, Elsa, Cinderella, and Pocahontas—will enhance the festive experience.

The Broadway singer will also be singing the iconic ‘Let It Go’ song from the film ‘Frozen’

The concert is part of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s larger holiday program, which runs from Nov. 14 to Jan. 4 and includes themed celebrations across the park, from snowy enchantment in the World of Frozen to festive appearances by Disney characters throughout Toy Story Land and Fantasyland.

Guests can also enjoy seasonal dining, exclusive merchandise, and interactive holiday activities, including the Christmas Starlight Picnic Package and themed in-room party packs.

A Black Friday Hotel offer provides 40 percent off flexible rates at Hong Kong Disneyland hotels for stays beginning Jan. 2, giving visitors the chance to extend the holiday celebrations.

Tickets for the Lea Salonga concert are available on the Hong Kong Disneyland website. Standard and VIP Seating Area Passes grant access to the designated concert zones; park admission and reservation are required.
