Rising K-pop boy group AHOF, which includes P-pop artist and former PLUUS member JL Gaspar, is set to hold its first fan concert in the Philippines.
On Monday, July 14, local producer SB Town announced on X that the nine-member group will headline “Rendezvous in Manila” on Aug. 30 at the Araneta Coliseum.
In a separate video, the members expressed excitement to meet their Filipino fans.
“It is a special moment and so happy for us since this is our first time coming to the Philippines as a group. This feels like a dream come true,” said JL.
Consisting of Steven, JL, Chih En, Jeongwoo, Daisuke, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, and Juwon, AHOF debuted on July 1 with the EP “Who We Are.” The group was formed through the survival reality show “Universe League.”
In a previous interview with Manila Standard Entertainment, JL shared that the debut marks the culmination of his childhood dream.
“Back then, I would just admire idols on TV. Now, I get to live that life and influence other people. It’s such a good feeling,” he said.
Ticket details for “Rendezvous in Manila” have yet to be announced.
